In this episode of Cool Cars with Chris, Chris and Courage take a look at some of the weirdest factory edition cars ever made, including the 1973 AMC Gremlin Levi’s Edition, the colorful Volkswagen Golf Harlequin, and the classic Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition.
The Levi’s Gremlin brought blue-jean style into the cabin of one of AMC’s most recognizable cars. The Volkswagen Harlequin took things in a completely different direction with mismatched red, blue, yellow and green body panels straight from the factory. And the Eddie Bauer Explorer showed how a car company could successfully team up with a lifestyle brand and create a special edition people actually wanted.
